Psg90 is the Swedish designation of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare, which is known in the Brittish Army as the L96A1. It is a bolt-action sniper rifle, with a 10X Hensoldt scope. It is in the same caliber as most other sniper rifles, 7.62 NATO. It is fed from a 9-round magazine. The ammunition used is usually full metal jacket or sub-caliber dart ammunition. The main targets are enemy troops, notably officers or specialists (radiomen, machinegunners etc.). |
